Code your very own animation using ScratchJr, introduce your child to coding using creative design.

Making coding fun for little ones will hopefully lead to an interest in computer programming!

Please bring your laptops to take part in this workshop. We can provide some to those who need them.

Workshops are attended on a first come, first served basis till capacity is reached.

Bio

Zia Teshome is founder of N19Stem a North London based coding workshop for children aged 5-12 years that was set up in February 2017.

She has a Level 3 CACHE Diploma in Working With Children, and has experience with working with children in the Early Years sector. Being a TECH enthusiast she wanted to help children have an interest in computer programming thus creating N19Stem. She teaches Scratch junior as well as basic website building such as:HTML 5, N19Stem also introduces children to STEM activities and games to help children’s problem solving skills. N19Stem is always learning and keeping up with the latest technology to introduce to children and is currently planning to include filming as part of their workshop. N19Stem also provides outreach work to disadvantaged children at local youth clubs to encourage young people to pursue careers in TECH.
